Cashbuild Donates Soccer Kit to Gusdo FC, Gugulethu, Western Cape

Gugulethu based soccer team, Gusdo FC, received a full soccer kit donation. The kit included two soccer balls, a complete set of jerseys, shorts and socks for all team players and the goalkeeper.

Gusdo FC plans to wear their donated kit with pride at local community soccer matches, tournaments and other regional competitions in which they will participate.

“We, as Gusdo FC, greatly appreciate your donation and sacrifice. Your donation will help support further our mission of using sports, mainly soccer, as a means and vehicle to encourage social cohesion. And to encourage young people growing in underserviced communities to make better-informed decisions by actively fighting illegal drugs, gangsterism and alcohol abuse,” said teams’ Coach Malibongwe Dyeshana.

“Cashbuild takes pride in assisting and supporting local sports clubs in communities we serve. This donation is one of many that we made, and we are going to increase this type of donation to get our youngsters off the street and into sports fields,” said Thembelani Tukwayo, Head of Cashbuild Community Support Initiatives.
