Cashbuild has donated over R10 000 worth of building material to Ukhanyiso Primary School. The school is based in Katlehong, Gauteng. The donation was used to renovate one classroom which has not been used by the school for the past five years. Ukhanyiso Primary School was founded in 1967, and has more than 1500 pupils, from grade R to grade 7.
This was part of the Community Support Initiatives (CSI) programmes Cashbuild is involved in. Working with the community is one of the key focuses for Cashbuild and assisting them in any way we can. We believe in investing in the future of our children and giving back to the communities we trade in.
The SGB chairperson of Ukhanyiso Primary School, Alex Nikani and FN Phakade the acting principal expressed their gratitude “Ukhanyiso Primary School is so grateful to Cashbuild for all your help to our institution, we really appreciate it. We used it to renovate one of our classroom which was not used for more than five years because it was not in a good condition. We hope and trust that the relationship built with you is profitable and will last longer.”
